Q visits RPI - Friday, February 19th

Re: Q visits RPI - Friday, February 19th

Oh look, intentional injury, but oh well, it's two minutes of nothing but passing and turning over the puck.

Re: Q visits RPI - Friday, February 19th

After one period in Princeton, the women are down 1-0. Shots are 19-10 for the Tigers. When I saw PU earlier in the year I commented that they were the best ECAC team that I had seen so far, and they look better now than then. Selander is going to see a lot of rubber tonight.:(. Our playoff hopes are hanging by a thread.

yeah, whatever, a goal, still not going to be able to beat this team. Watch it get taken off anyway from a kick.

The rule is if your foot is moving and it is not in a stopping motion, it is considered a kick. That should NOT have counted.

It did not appear intentional but his skate was moving. I have seen that called both ways.

The only "intent" that matters in the rule book is a stopping motion. Look, it's nice that RPI is credited with a goal, but I'd much rather us earn it fairly.

I'd really like to see us score a few garbage goals in scrums in front of the net like our opponents always seem to get. I don't know if it is a lack of hand eye coordination but we always seem to get stoned or beat to the loose pucks.

Usually a prerequisite to a garbage goal is hitting the net in the first place. We look for a deflection WAY too much, and hardly ever have someone in front.
