So many teams are bunched together in the standings. Seems every game has both playoff atmosphere and implications.
Our team has worked hard/played hard this season and it's great to be playing very meaningful games. Keep it going!

This may be an RPI record as this is the third time that we've played a current #1 team in the same year.
The good news is that our record in these games is 1-0-1 so far. Let's keep the unbeaten streak alive!

I'm optimistic tonight. If there's anything we know from decades of RPI hockey, it's that when you think they'll zig, they zag. After a total stinker against Dartmouth and generally lackluster play, I could see them finally waking up tonight. They're the type of team that could beat Q, then lose to Princeton.

One at a time but we need both. I could not find a scenario where we rise higher than 14th if every game goes our way this weekend. Jim Dahl's http://collegehockeyranked.com/ analysis states that we are on a cliff and that 2 loses will likely have us fall 9 spots to number 26 in the PWR. Ouch!

More than likely will miss this one. Jenny had made plans for us to attend an auction that she has great interest in. After 41 years what was an extensive vocabulary gained from long hard years of study has now shrunk to 2 words. "Yes dear." Hoping to be back for at least part of the game but very doubtful. We are up against a very good team that gets better late in games. Cannot count how many games they won or tied late this year. And we seem to go in the opposite direction in the third period by a very wide margin. However, i always figure that hockey is a game of match ups and we have matched up with QU fairly well recently. Being at home and having the last change may be very important if used properly. We need this game, we need this weekend, we need to start some sort of momentum and roll into the playoffs on a high note. Let's Go Red!!!!

I never worry about that. She is the careful one. She is street smart and has common sense (something i never had). She is an incredible reader and retains what she reads. She usually knows what things are worth and what she is willing to pay for something. Often we go and buy nothing but come out having learned about things that were for sale or were bought. It can be a lot of fun and I love going but not at the expense of missing an RPI TV broadcast of a game.
