The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Now St Louis is hosting a Secret Dream Gap tour stop - selling tickets too. Yay! But also oh my god more practice for the American players ahead of Worlds. Hello Canada, can we get the Canadians some games?
Nothing earth shattering here, but some musing about what it means that Dani Rylan is now completely out of NW. NW also announced today that a 7th team - Montreal is a go for next season. Ingemi broke the news a while back and Wawrow wrote about it today.
I think it’s fair to say there’s not much interest in showcases. PW needs to make moves. Anyone think they’ll reconcile with NW before 21/22 season? One thing that will make PW look reallllllly bad imo is if they don’t have a plan for their non national team players to play next year.

Honestly? I’m tired of the PW players and the NWHL doesn’t need them. People like watching and rooting for their local teams regardless of who the players are - especially if their team is winning. The Whitecaps, for example, get great crowds with the players they have. The PW players holding out on the NW hasn’t gained them nor women’s professional hockey anything.
Yea. This is becoming apparent. I think lots of people feel like you do.
I think a challenge for NW is to get through their final championship without any horrible drama. They’ve got it lined up to be on tv, I think Mleczko and Kate Scott on the call, it *should* be a great weekend.
