Re: Providence @ Maine

I kind of like the decision to go with Ouellette again. Don't let that last game fester - give him a chance to get back out on the ice and erase that memory.

Safe to say that, for whatever reason, Sirman is out of the rotation at this point?

Re: Providence @ Maine

Gates made a great save on Mangene shorthanded. An effing champ indeed. Penalty killed.

Re: Providence @ Maine

Brian Flynn! O'Neill should get an assist, point shot Flynn scooped up the rebound. 2-0 Maine.

Re: Providence @ Maine

Shots unofficially 16-7 in favor of Maine with 7 left in the second. 2-0 Black Bears

Re: Providence @ Maine

McKinnon scores; tough angle shot. 2-1 late in the second. That's the first goal Oullette's given up against Providence...95:52 shutout streak to begins his career against the Friars.

Re: Providence @ Maine

Mangene draws a hold...Maine will have a brief PP guess is most of it carries over to the third. Mangene's having a great night.

Re: Providence @ Maine

Who asked me? ABBOTT from Flynn, 10 seconds left in the period. No carry over. PPG. 3-1 Maine.

Re: Providence @ Maine

3-1 Maine after two. Shots favor Maine 22-12. Goals; ME: Abbott, Flynn, Swaverly; PC; McKinnon.

Out of town scores: Vermont 2, NU 0 (third); Umass 3, UMass Lowell 1 (second); Huntsville 2, Merrimack 0 (after one)

Re: Providence @ Maine

At work tonight so I haven't been able to watch, but... let's see:

Maine can beat unranked competition at home...
Mangene is the man and in the minority of players going balls to the wall...
Swavely is showing glimpses of good things...

Sounds like nothing we don't already know. Should I be impressed?

Well, unbeaten in 4 starts and the team lead in save percentage and goals against, he gives us our worst chance to win.

Re: Providence @ Maine

Jeff Dimmen limped off favoring his ankle but he's back for his next shift----rips on on net almost causes a goal looks like he's OK. 15ish to go 3-2 Maine

Is it more important to you to be right, or to enjoy following a sports team? Live in the moment dude and enjoy the game.
