Providence Friars - 2019-2020 Rebuilding The Friars for Another NCAA

Can't close the other thread so hopefully the admins can....

Onto next season where Leaman is going to have a big challenge getting the Friars to 7 straight NCAAs....

Lot's on new faces but not all the talent will be gone....key seniors and juniors will need to be leaders to continue the Friar way.

Goaltending may be ok with Lackey from Harvard coming in, gives Kucharski time to get ready for NCAA hockey...and come back from his injury issues.

Young will be a key guy on defense as senior defenseman with a whole lot of experience.

Agree on Zlax assessment that O'Brien needs to step it up strength wise and his play.

Dugan returning will another key.

Meanwhile, we wait to hear about Kasper.

I like the incoming class PC has for next season. Maybe not as much as I did when their departed juniors were incoming freshmen but this seems to be the cycle, with each group having a 3 year window and reloading. I remember when Bryson and Co. came in, it was getting used to a lot of new names and faces and growing pains, but they were still a tournament team. I liked them getting Lackey to come in as an experienced goalie to possibly be the #1 they need. But I'd like to see their other Mollot-Hill and Kucharski show they can be relied upon too, if need be.

I wonder if Mollot-Hill transfers since he will likely be the number 3 guy next year....

Thompson was a surprise this season in how good he was so he will have to continue to get top 6 minutes. Does Vimal step into a top six role as a winger and a grinder in front of the net?

Callahan was good this past season while I thought Miregas took a step back this season from his freshman campaign. Can Ben step into the Bryson opening on the power play?

Hey Friar fans am heading to the 'Dunk for the first time on Sunday to see the PBruins v Checkers game. First time going...any suggestions for parking that's close by?

The Providence Place Mall and walk through to the DDC. Short money. Get there early enough and there is street parking at meters going up toward the back side of Federal Hill.

Got my season ticket renewal in the mail today.

JoB is the first player selected in the first round ever to transfer...not a fact I would want to be a part of. Sounds like the entitlement of him continues as everyone believes he is going to Northeastern after a year in the BCHL where he will pad his stats.

The team played better without him this year so we will see how PC replaces him.

JoB in an interview said BCHL is not a done deal, still looking at where to go to get the experience he feels he needs ....

Got my ticket renewal in. Always done this by phone. Does anyone else, or just mail them/order online? Always liked the printed books - they usually make for good bookmarks - so that's where the additional $5 comes in.

Yea I asked for printed tickets also...I wasn’t feeling the online tickets for my phone next year
