Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

I was at the game last night.

I think Providence is an excellent team, but it looked like whenever they scored, they sat back like they thought Ohio State was going to fold the tents, and go home. Instead they just kept coming.

Both goalies let in some soft goals, not just one.

The penalties were easy to call by the refs. I couldn't believe some of the bad penalties they committed.

The game was there for them to win, but they just kept opening the door for us, and we simply walked through it.

Wish I could see tonight's game, but it is the home opener for the Blue Jackets, against the New York Rangers.

I won't take anything away from PC, you guys played some strong hockey. I also won't say you underestimated us, everyone knows the risks playing in another team's barn but I think the people in the media and polls did not give OSU enough credit for what we're bringing to the table this season!

Scoreless halfwauy through the second. Gillies in jet and only one penalty so far.

Got the split...I heard Jankowski was laboring late on Friday and hope that injury doesn't keep him out long

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

If we can combine the defense and discipline from Saturday with the offense from Friday, we might be okay.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Congrats on the win. 44 more seconds and it would have ended as a tie.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Hopefully this weekend will show the team that they need to be more in control of their game.....too many dumb penalties and not enough shots on goal.....the real Gillies only played one game this week, he has to be ready all the time

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

I will take the split this weekend. The Friars are not going to win every game, so a loss early on puts the team on notice that they must play at the top of their game, every game. I am excited about attending a number of games in person this year to have better sense of what some of you have been complaining about. To be honest, after suffering for most of the last 20 years, I am excited about what is happening at PC and glad to be back. I have taken the rose colored glasses out of the drawer and dusted them off. Let's go Friars!

Parisi took a hard hit and didn't look like he will be back for some time...need an update on him

Mark Divver tweeted that they won't know the extent of his injury until today. He left the arena with his arm in a sling and ice on his shoulder.
