Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Beaudry is the only thing keeping PC from being blown out right now... I'm so glad the NCAA allows him to play for us!

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

And of course PC's lone great scoring chance of the last 2 periods is saved.

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Is UVM on the power play? PC hasn't touched the puck for five minutes.

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

8:23 remaining and PC still can't score.

I want to strangle the people who make these schedules. 2 games in 2 weeks, eh?

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

I think Spillane and the kid from Notre Dame are related. Cripes...

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Beaudry is awesome. Our offense? Not so much.

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Goal Milo. Game over. PC can't score one goal, nevermind 3.

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

UVM on the PP. Like it ****ing matters, right?

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Spillane with his easiest shut out ever.

Re: Providence at Vermont - 11/08/09

Well PC clearly outshot UVM, but im taking it they didnt have any real quality chances.

Aside from a brief flurry late in the period and Schuller almost scoring off of Bergland's rush, it seems that all of PC's shots came from distance or at odd angles.

Even worse, followed by five games in ten days starting on the 17th, and concluding with a trip to Hanover the day after Thanksgiving. At least the nonconference games are against crappy Brown & Dartmouth teams, but it doesn't make much sense to have such long stretches of inactivity (including a full month off after finals), forcing your team to play a compressed schedule.
