Go Cats!! Beat Maine!!!
Game starts in 10 minutes. Excellent outing for UNH last night, despite being outplayed in the third period. Even though they spent most of the third in their own end, UNH seemed to play with confidence in their own end. That was easily UNH's best game since the start of the second half of the season. I'm not expert on PC, but from what I can gather they seem to be a quick, physical team that just doesn't seem to have a lot of touch around the net. Anyways, I expect the same kind of game tonight, maybe a little more feisty as these teams will now be playing each other for the third time in their last 4 games.

Good work
.... I thought unh was lucky to come away with the win, with exception of second period where they dictated play and played with confidence. PC had very. Aggressive forcheck whick kept unh speedy forwards from playing on half sheet of ice. PC did give up a bunch of odd. Man rushes . PC does not have nearly the skill of unh.

Exactly 3 minutes gone in the first. UNH with most of the puck possession to start the game, but only 1 shot.

Cross checking penalty to PC, that even the UNH announcers don't like. UNH to the PP at 7:50 of the first.

Big clear out of the crease by Campanale to preserve the one goal lead. PC PP is over with 7:54 left in the first.

DiGi with a couple of nice saves keeps it 1-0 UNH. 49 seconds left on the PC PP and now we will have matching minors.

Rooney off for INT, and again not a good call by the ref. Both players arrived at the puck at the same time and hit each other. 2:39 to play in the first.

End of the first period. UNH had most of the puck possession in the first. PC's only real sustained pressure was on their 2 PP's. Even strength, UNH really outplayed PC. It's almost a joke how much better the UNH top line is than any other line on most other teams. They just seem to dominate when they are out there.

Hey, Dean -- good to hear. Sorry I'm late... had to drop my daughter off to see a movie (and since we're in the boonies, the nearest movie theatre is 10 miles away!).

Hey no worries Richard, good to see you tonight. I hear another storm is on it's way. Man you guys are getting pounded this year.
