Thompson must be upset that he is still at 99 points in his career. He wants it Friday night vs. Maine.
Hi Richard - I'm thinking back to how Dave Lumley skated and handled the puck, always with his head up and standing tall. Paul Thompson's stride and confident demeanor reminds me of him.By the way, on the cover of that 77-78 guide is a great photo of Cornell's Lance Nethery (he was AWESOME) with UNH's Dave Lumley (later with Edmonton) and Joe Rando. Boston Garden, 1977 ECAC championship semi-final.
My laptop connection just crashed -- doing this though the cellphone. You are officially BEERED -- have a great trip back East!Quick note.... Dean and I will be back in NH next weekend for the Maine series with our usual group.. we will be standing with Darci, Matt, and the rest of the Hosers in Row 2.... please come by if you have a chance and say hi to us... It'd be great to meet some of you that I have not met before and also want to see all the familiar faces I have met previously. REALLY looking forward to next weekend! Best weekend of the year!!!
