Providence at UNH - 01/21/11

Re: Providence at UNH - 01/21/11

3:26 to play in the second. Sometimes it seems the Cats are making one too many passes.

3-1 PC

Re: Providence at UNH - 01/21/11

Hmmm... we're playing well, but we allowed 3 goals fairly early???

2-0 after one and then 3-0 16 seconds into the second. From what I could gather ( I was at work for the first period) during the intermission, UNH outplayed PC but the Friars got a stellar performance from Beaudry. If I'm wrong about that and Jon is here I'm sure he will correct me :)

Well, hello there, Malts. Good to have one of the regulars aboard the board.

Hey, go... yeah, tough getting in on Fridays until later, but not used to us taking it on the chin at home. We need a goal... badly here on the PP.

Re: Providence at UNH - 01/21/11

What?!?!? Is this what UNH Hockey has fallen to, a single poster, albeit the reliable and loyal Dean? (I except the brief incursion Priceless, a Maine fan.) Where are the other stalwarts -- Snively, Malts, Erin, etc. etc.? Heck, where is BillB?

Sheesh.

Anyway, from what I read, it sounds like UNH just isn't playing serious hockey these days (haven't tuned in the audio.)

I'm a Maine alumnus, but I like most college hockey teams. UHN wasn't really our rival when I was there, and Brian McCloskey was my high school coach.

Second period over.

3-1 PC

UNH is playing well on the PP but PC is playing a really tight box. It's giving the Cats all kinds of room on the perimeter to throw the puck around, but no shots are getting through.

Hey, that's OK. My wife was almost a Maine alum, but she smartened up and transferred to UNH after 3 semesters. I have a few friends who attended Maine and support Maine hockey.;)

Hey I think it has been years so ce the Friars beat the Kitties at the Whitt. This could be the night. Thanks for the updates.

Re: Providence at UNH - 01/21/11

Stevie Moses with TWO key chances that he fails to bury. Come on, boys... we need one quickly here.

Re: Providence at UNH - 01/21/11
