Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Will there still be a parade ????? Will Hockeydad lead it ????? The world is waiting for the answer.......has the glass spilled ?????

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

and your a punk with no life..

I have to give it to you HD, you are entertaining.....and this is definitely a hyperbole!! While giving an english lesson, you present evidence that the word fan is actually a homonym......one who cheers.....and one who creates a lot of wind!!!!

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Big game on Sunday for the Friars. I hate that the UVM game coincides with the Pats game. I won't be home in time to watch it. :(

A win in Burlington would be huge.

BTW what ever happened to my Schwab? He has forsaken us.

All the negativity scared him away. He is officially AWOL from Tim's Army.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

their announcer is now John Hennessey
John's fortunate to be announcing anywhere after that accident last season. I hope he's doing ok at UMass.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

PC down 2-0 at the end of 2.

More importantly, glass is now 47.56% full.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

they are outshooting them by a good margin and playing fine
a loss on the road to UVM is not a disater. good effort all and all so far

Are you listening to the same game I am? PC hasn't had any sustained pressure since the end of the first.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

PC down 3-0 with under a minute to do. Our offense apparently got out at the Ben and Jerry's factory.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

We played well but not well enough.......it could be another tough year in HE......we can't keep giving up the front of the net.......glass going down......3-0 shut out

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

That was a nice trip back to last year, wasn't it?

Now we have to wait 9 *****ing DAYS to play Bruno. Who came up with this schedule?
I'm sure the players want to get back on the ice after being shut out...

We've been reading that line for most of Army's 81 losses. 4 seasons-plus later, I think it's time to retire it as if it's some indication that "things are going in the right direction."

Blanked for the 2nd time this season and it's not even a month old.

Sod off troll. Find a new thread. You are NOT a Friars fan, you ARE an illiterate moron.

That excuse didn't work on your wife so she left you and went off and found another dud (I meant dude but either one works). Please don't try it here either troll.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Bruno should be the cure for what is currently ailing them. Unfortunately the team just has to wait a few days. As far as the fans go, we've seen worse from Tim's army over the past several seasons and this might just be a bump in the road.

I do agree that HE action could be tough for the Friars this year as every team seems to have gotten better. PC is not going to sneak up on anyone.

You have to post 3 times in a row? Shut up you clown and get a life.

Your not a Friars fan either, your a punk who loves to run kids and coaches under the bus. Having you trash them is a blessing because no org would want a maggot like you as a fan

Beaudrys save percentage took a real hit today, must be a new deal for Tim give away the slot and hope the other guys don't notice.......this really makes me worry about HE games and where we fit.......hard to find a walkover in league play......hope we can kick Browns butt because if we don't the team morale will be shot even with the great coaching staff reving them up......put the parade on hold again and clean up the spill from the glass

Re: Providence - 2009-10 In-season Thread

Shot totals; the most useless stat in all of hockey.

Clearly, the kids we have now are capable of winning games. We need to figure out this power play thing at some point... sigh. I think if PC was able to put one puck past Spillane (that's Spillane and not Madore for the UVM announcers. Seriously. It's your own team and there are names of the back of the jerseys. ARGH!) in the first when they were playing well, maybe they break out and score some more and give Beaudry some kind of support...
