Hmm, didn't they do a Nash vs. HHH angle a few years ago?
Also it looks like HHH may be taking some time off so we get an "injury". Could be an angle where Nash comes back as some big bad and then HHH returns to take him out. It's definitely another attempt at an NWO angle what with the false invasion stuff.

Just watched the documentary part of the Bret vs. Shawn DVD. It was good. I liked how they admitted what started as a work backfired on them and they accidentally turned it into a shoot. My favorite part was when Shawn basically threw Triple H under the bus and implied that the whole "screwjob" thing was HIS idea. But the first thing I think of when watching stuff about Montreal is that if Survivor Series hadn't ended the way it did, Owen and Bulldog would probably still be alive. That has to be a lot of weight on Shawn's (and Vince's) shoulders and it's something he'll have to live with for the rest of his life.

Sheets are saying that the period we're in right now between Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble is when Vince and co. like to "test drive" their less established stars to see what they have for a main event. ('99 Foley, mid-00's Evolution, later-00's Edge, etc.)
We'll see how it works out. Knowing WWE, Big Show punches Daniel Bryan's skull out of his head at the Rumble and John Cena starts hugging troops and shaking children and we're right back to status quo.
