Princeton @ RPI, Saturday the 11th

Re: Princeton @ RPI, Saturday the 11th

With the way this one has been going, have to relieved we are only down by one goal after the first. Do we ever win an important faceoff?

I'm more concerned about the aggressive press when they have the puck in their zone, and then the inability to cover them. This would be much worse if Princeton was able to get the puck on the tape more often.

the he** with faceoffs, need some defense and puck possession in their own end. Hot Potato!

On the other hand, if it's a high scoring game, you could be more sloshed than last night.

SS-We have immediately lost possess both deep in their zone and deep in ours for the entire first period. They are indeed forechecking the heck out of us and also winning every battle along the boards but we have given them possession just far too often off the face off almost uncontested. This first period could have easily been very lop sided on the scoreboard. I also think we have made just about every bad decision with the puck possible so far tonight. let's see if we can right the ship in the last 40 minutes as we did last night.

Haven't seen us clear the puck in front of our net yet... not that I'm trying to give them any ideas...

My point is regardless of faceoffs, the puck possession has been miserable at best. I agree, decision making is very poor.
