Princeton @ RPI (Saturday, 2/18/12)

Re: 2-1 Princeton

Re: 2-1 Princeton

I refuse to give up on our boys. But after getting hammered at the BRF and now this on Senior night-it is very hard not to feel that the problems run deep. How can just everyone play poorly all at once. weak goaltending, horrible defensive play, no offensive chemistry or creativity. I could understand this in the first game or two of the season but not after playing 30 games this year.

Disagree Doc. This team plays as a group of individuals, and, despite the assertion of some of our colleagues, they're not that talented.

SS-i think individually they have a lot of talent-especially in the freshman class-but you hit it right on the button. They have not played like a team all year and that has to be the fault of a bunch of people.

Exactly.

Can we put Coupal in? Not knocking Scotty or Bryce, but...well, if the game's going this way anyway, and it's senior night. Who knows, maybe it'd help the team dig deep and find something in the tank to either keep from giving up more goals or to pull out the win. It's only three goals, we can do it!

That is approximately the 2,309,759,830,984,987,435th time we've turned the puck over this season and it's resulted in a goal.

I am all vented out-after tonight-i would hope we see all the freshmen playing every night that we have left. Let them get as much experience together for the next 3 years coming up. Going back in RPI history-often times after a horrible year-we have a very good rebound year.

I know that others disagreed when I said that Coupal should have been put in late in the BRF!, but I would put him for the last couple of minutes today. The women played the walk-on third string goalie at the end of the game today.
