Big late in the period goal. A little extra breathing space against a team we should be able to beat and really have to beat to end the first half of the season with a .500 record in the ECAC.

The score was 55-6 but truthfully, for most of the game RPI just could not catch a break. They actually could have been very close at the half but some strange bounces hurt them. it was 14-0 before the offense got the ball! and NC scored at the very end of the half when it appeared RPI had intercepted and the half was over.
Were they as good as the opposition? Not in any way but strange things made this a blow out win and NC covered the odds of being a 33+ point favorite.
