A couple of days ago I said that it was unlikely that Ottawa would offer a contract to Burgess. If he keeps this up I'll change my opinion. It also makes me wonder how things might have gone if he'd stayed healthy.

That last play was uncomfortably close to making it 3-2. Savory had to come up big, and he did.

Lots of stuff going right for us so far but a full third period for each team to play. if the scores hold as they are, we are going to be feeling good about where we are in the scheme of things.
