Princeton@RPI 2/17/17

Re: Princeton@RPI 2/17/17

Things are looking grim for the women at QU. Bobcats lead 2-0 after 1 period, are outshooting the Engineers 21-5, skating circles around them in the RPI end....score could be 5-0 if not for some Selander heroics. To make matters worse, Harvard is bombing Yale 4-0, meaning that it is now almost certain that RPI needs at least a tie, either tonight or tomorrow night against #9 Princeton, to make the playoffs.

Re: Princeton@RPI 2/17/17

Good - being ahead by two goals.

Not so good - taking four penalties in the first period, even though all of them were killed.

RPI took a total of ten penalties at Princeton, and it eventually caught up with them. Need to do a better job of staying out of the box.

Unless Harvard gets a tie tomorrow against Brown, even if RPI loses. But your point is valid.

If Harvard is up to destroying Yale tonight they won't work up a sweat against Brown tomorrow....IMO.

Re: Princeton@RPI 2/17/17

No one was expecting Union to beat Harvard, either. Anything is possible.

Not to beat a dead horse...but Harvard today is not the Harvard that lost to Union. Still a very short bench but they won't lose to Brown. RPI needs to focus on their 2 games, they aren't going to get any help this weekend.
