Was very badly cut on the arm in a rush to determine icing that went into the boards. Streamed blood 150 feet across the ice. Emergency surgery that night (Friday); followup surgery this week. Out 5-6 months.

I'm still freaked out after you mentioning that. Thankfully not as life threatening as when we played in Alabama in 2010 and Higgs had his neck cut by a skate, but nothing you ever want to see, hear, or read.
