Princeton Hockey

Tigers keep beating teams in their way. Bowling Green( CCHA ) didnt put up much of a fight. NCAA here we come!

Princeton wins the UConn Tournament. Gadowsky is playing all 10 of his freshmen. This team is getting better each week. Going to be a heck of 2nd half.

Re: Princeton Hockey

Starting to get a little shaky. Lost to Cornell (despite outshooting them by a huge margin) and had to work hard to beat Colgate (again a huge shooting margin). I think they are in exam period so maybe thats having an effect.

Cornell's goalie (Mike Garman) was probably the difference in that game. The shot totals were grossly imbalanced and Princeton seemed to have the better of the play all night. Sometimes the bounces all go the other way. It happens.

Agreed... Sometimes you play well and don't get the bounces or run into a hot goalie, as happened against both Quinnipiac and Cornell. That said, when they did get a bounce to tie the game late against Cornell I thought they might have a chance to pull it out, but it wasn't meant to be. Good to get a win over Colgate entering the break. Princeton has struggled the pre-exam weekend the last few seasons so good to get two points and recharge for the stretch run.

Re: Princeton Hockey

It seems like a dogfight for 2nd in the ECAC. Its really hard to separate Union, RPI, Princeton and Dartmouth.
