Must sweep. Princeton is #52 in the Pairwise, and this is one of the few ECAC-WCHA matchups. Need to get these 2 going into the holidays, and hope to get the goaltending back on track.

Don't be so very disrespectful of an ECAC team whose average test scores are 400 points higher than Minnesota State. Don't be so sure you are going to sweep Princeton. You lost to Bowling Green, who lost to Miami, who lost to St. Lawrence, who lost to Clarkson, who lost to Cornell, who lost to Princeton !!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

I don't know about that ...... your state flower is the "lady slipper" ? Does not sound very tough to me. Do you sing "Hail Minnesota" after every goal?

Princeton was founded in 1746, over 100 years before the State of Minnesota got going. Your citizen, F. Scott Fitzgerald, had to go to Princeton to learn how to write ;) He thinks it's going to be a split as well :)

And Princeton's never had a Hobey Baker winner, WHEN THEY HAD HOBEY BAKER. How is that even possible?

OK, I will say no more.
Just remember that Princeton holds a 2-1 edge in the all-time series with Mankato. Princeton is no pushover and has already played the real #1 team in the country, Harvard.

This thread got stupid real quick.

Princeton has no business skating with the Mavs. Yes, they still need to show up and play hard, as we saw last weekend, but if the Mavericks are serious about being a national title contender, teams like Princeton need to be swept at home.

It seems they decided to show up...as they should have. Words can't describe the play of Princeton this year.

If the Mavs stay focused tonight, the team should be feeling pretty good going into the break. Let's go 1-0, just like the football team this afternoon. It's a great day to be a Maverick!
