Princeton 2017-18

Re: Princeton 2017-18

Way to go guys. Great tournament run. You beat the top three teams in the conference. Best of luck next week. Hope to see you play if you make it to Worcester.

Re: Princeton 2017-18

Terrific field in Allentown and with PSU in the mix that building should sellout on Saturday. Take care of the Buckeyes and we'll be able to catch the final on Sunday on our way back from Worcester.

Re: Princeton 2017-18

A BIG Green congrats to you. Well deserved and earned as you are playing your best hockey of the long season! Remember I have been singing your praises all year lond and will continue to do so. Talk about a high octane offense regional from all four teams. Go ahead and soak in the moment and don’t stop now in representing ECAC and IVY league hockey well.

Re: Princeton 2017-18

From a Buckeye fan what can we expect to see from your team on Saturday? Who are your best players? What style do you guys play?

Have a look at the NCAA scoring leaders and team statistics.
Oh, and they’re very smart.

Pretty much sums it up.

Fast team that scores alot. They have a tendency to outplay opponents as the game wears on. You need to get shots on net against them.

Agreed. Interestingly enough, Princeton has been more flexible in their style of play recently, depending on the opponent. They’ve had games with strong puck possession, and other games where they’ve counterpunched and blocked shots. Their defense and goalie were clutch in Lake Placid this weekend- clicking at the right time. No. 1 PP versus No. 1 PK ought to be fun.

Good luck in Allentown Tigers! We are in Worcester at the NE Regional and will be enjoying a Trillium craft brew at Armsby Abbey before the games. Smoke the Bucks!

Re: Princeton 2017-18

Sorry the season had to end but you have a lot to be proud of! You just seemed gassed and out of sync, maybe getting to the "big dance" just wore you down both mentally and physically and having Teves kicked out for about half the game certainly didn't help.

Re: Princeton 2017-18

Great season that surpassed expectations. It doesn't matter what team you are- tough to win a game when you have 27 penalty minutes. Already looking forward to next season!

Also, this. When your fastest skater is a 6'3" forward, he'll definitely get some looks:

Re: Princeton 2017-18

Robinson signed a two-year deal with CBJ today and will join the team immediately. Congratulations Eric!
