Practice jerseys. Sizes.

Does anyone have wisdom when it comes to jersey sizes for rec/pickup hockey (over shoulder pads)? With some brands, XL fits me better, and with others, L is likely my size. I even put an XL jersey of a brand I can't recognize (faded tag on a borrowed jersey) up against one of those CCM uncrested NHL-pattern jerseys, also an XL size...there was a very noticeable difference. (The CCM jersey is bigger; I have to tuck that one in a little bit.)

What brands tend to run larger than others, and which don't really account for equipment underneath, requiring that you go up a size?

Re: Practice jerseys. Sizes.

I have experience with a few jerseys. Just stick with a CCM practice jersey or a Kamazu practice jersey, and you'll be good on the sizing. Go here: http://www.hockeygiant.com/jersey---apparel-hockey-jerseys-practice-hockey-jerseys.html and the different brands provide sizing charts for their jerseys.

I've had the best luck with CCM's practice jerseys for overall combination in durability and freedom of movement.
