Its not the majority. Its the people who bother to turn out and vote. As long as apathy is as strong of a badge of honor for liberals as nuttiness is for conservatives, get used to more Trumps up and down the ballot. How many libs did we read about or know who thought voting 3rd part or sitting out this year was some sort of principled stand? Sure showed everybody when they allowed the GOP to take total control of the govt. :rolleyes:

It's not even remotely close to the majority. It's about 25% of the population, the low tail on the white IQ spectrum. And they've always been out there; they can just shout at us now.

We're in a race. Get off the planet before the apes blow it up. Just stop funding everything else -- defense, infrastructure -- and put it all into space travel, terraforming, and life sciences. The sun will go nova in a billion years, but the species is going nova now, and we need to put as much distance between ourselves and the dregs as we can as quickly as we can.

Not even close when they control the most school boards, local governments, State Governments, and the entire Federal Government?> They also now will control the Supreme Court and have controlled it for my entire lifetime. This is the problem with Liberals today. They don't understand what Majority in America really means.

Politics is about attracting people to your position.

If I were asking people to follow me and their response is, "hey, let me take another look at that old, misogynistic, racist, ethically challenged, narcissistic blowhard", personally I might start to develop a bit of a complex. But, if you're good with it, I am.

You know what, I agree with the guy in the video, Trump wasn't specifically going after the reporter for being physically handicapped. Trump's default retort is to use a physical pantomime to infer that anybody who disagrees with him (Trump) is reta-rded in some manner. How is that better?

Everything below the federal level is just a fight over either real estate development or baby Jesus bullsh-t. It rarely reflects the f-ckwittedness of the national Republican party.

At the federal level, we're about to see whether the right actually has a majority, or whether we are now trapped in a pendulum swing of anti-incumbency which will result in them losing all those majorities again.

All 2016 proved is people hate Hillary Clinton enough to vote for the electoral equivalent of an old hobo's cumstained colostomy bag as an alternative. But Hillary Clinton will never again be on a ballot. That ship has sailed.

I think you're whistling past the graveyard Kep. Its a much more fundamental problem than that. Obama was a reasonably popular President. Yet, Dem voters abandoned him in 2010 and 2014. None of these had anything to do with Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Roger Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Clint Eastwood, etc. You're seeing the world through Sanders colored glasses I fear.

Either the left reacquaints itself with the joys of voting, up and down the ballot, or they will continue to lose.

It helps them prepare for more important offices in some cases though. If the democrats dropped the anti-gun and PC nonsense I would think strongly about voting for them. They'd do well to have people like Maryl Streep and LeBron James keep their mouth shut too. I think it does them more harm than good.
