You know how about many videos there are on Youtube, yes? Obviously they came up with algorithms to go after copyrighted material, and are only now starting to create algorithms to go after "fake news". Give it time, they'll eventually start going after what you're talking about.

You don't seem to get it. If an "globalist organization" had as much power and influence as you like to claim, those videos would be gone already. The people creating those videos would have their channels shutdown and access rights banned. The videos would no longer exist because the people making them wouldn't be able to get them uploaded in the first place. Copyright and "fake news" issues would take a backseat to the all powerful globalists.

There's something you don't seem to get: There are requisites that are required before shutting them down: Finding the information, and party of source and/or influence for information. Finding info is a heck of a lot easier with searching algorithms these days, and even then, there are more and more foxholes being created. Hence why a number of insiders remain silent. As for the second one, South Park probably summed it up the best on their whistleblower episode. They didn't go after Cartman, just like how they don't go after beforeitsnews.com, because they're viewed as a bunch of tossers. Why do they go after Snowden? Party of source to information, he's announced his position, so they know. As for Infowars, Breitbart, and Drudge, their influence has gained a lot of ground within the last few months, especially when they've been displaying not only support for Trump, but the evidence that shows America supports him, despite all the oversampled polls and cheerleading from the mainstream.

So why don't they just shut it down, even witht eh first amendment supposedly still in place? You need ISP support to do that. In China, it's real easy, because the government is the ISP. You'd also have to have control over IPs and domains; the US no longer owns that. There are still plenty of other DNS nameservers out there. Remember when there was the massive DoS service attack with github and a few other sites? There were other nameservers that allowed you to get there properly. They've been trying DDoS attacks on Drudge and Infowars quite a bit; you may have read about it in the news.

To be fair, Merryl Streep is overrated. But I give you: our president.

When are people going to realize that Trump is not a "marketing genius" or a "master of the narrative" or even a Pied Piper. He's just a narcissistic liar permanently trapped in adolescence with enough money that he has been safely insulated from the consequences of his actions all his life. He's not even a charlatan, he's just a jerk.

And this country made him president, and Christian conservatives have convinced themselves he's a "Godly man," all because we are now so divided by political party that we will vote for anyone, literally, as long as they have the right letter after their name.

Trump being elected is comedy but also tragedy for democracy.

It's interesting to me that you think we'll vote for anyone yet liberals cannot be bothered to vote for Hillary. Fact is only one side will "vote" for anyone. He mocked and ridiculed a disabled man and over 1/2 the country actually believes he didn't do it. You can't make **** like that up.

I'm not preaching BSABSVR. I understand the GOP is a far more criminal party with their nakedly anti-humanist policies, and the GOP lemmings are far more hypnotized and pathetic. Trust me, I get it.

And yeah it scares me a lot that the conservative base of this country is now so stupefied, both literally and figuratively, that they are not just denying reality but consider the denial of reality to be an essential part of being a good citizen. The Republican party has staged a Existential Coup where the language of their party has replaced common sense and reason. And this same base is awash in assault weapons, hateful rhetoric, and delusional self-pity and paranoia. They are very dangerous.
