POTUS Elect Trump II: We Are So Totally F%*#ed

I don't, but their problem is Trump. He's not going to stick his neck out for Congressional knuckledraggers. He's already throwing them under a bus and he's not even in office yet. Trump will loudly declare he's ready to sign an ACA repeal TOMORROW!!! as long as everyone keeps their health coverage. Simple, succinct, and keeps him as the defender of the working class slob, while simultaneously screwing the Congresscritters. If they could pass a replacement that keeps everyone's insurance, they would have done so already.

IMHO Trump has two things that he cares about, and the rest was just rhetoric to get elected. 1) Tax cuts for the rich, 2) Build a wall. Jailing opponents, cancelling free trade agreements, repealing ACa, deporting everybody, rounding up Muslims, etc etc - not sure he actually cares about any of that.

I actually think he only cares about getting rich and being popular. He would raise taxes if he thought he could make a buck off it.

He may want to launch a political dynasty with Kushner / Ivanka. Purely as a way to keep his name in the news of course.

Hopefully this time four years from now the name "Trump" will resonate with voters somewhere between the names "Bush" and "Manson."

You could very well be right on the first part. I really hope you're wrong on the second part. We've had a pretty disappointing run this century and we must be due for someone who makes positive changes(even if they come from a very unexpected place.)

I think Obama has done a stellar job, given what he inherited.

Both Bush and Obama doubled their respective national debts from start of regime to end of regime. Unless you're trying to use specific outlying years as your argument (wouldn't surprise me), I'm pretty sure decreasing the actual, not projected, deficit didn't happen. And if you look at an average across the respective regimes, I'd say deficit doubling is how you get to the debt doubling.

No. But, hey, good news. The party that doesn't believe in cutting or paying for anything is back in power. So, I expect it to triple in the next 8 years.

That's because the knuckledraggers wanted to add 900bil/year to the national debt. Paul Ryan said **** that, and that's what Trump applauds.

That would infer your party doesn't want to run up the debt, despite eight years of evidence to the contrary. Perhaps we can agree both parties are spending into oblivion.

Sure. Paul Ryan wants to end the national debt. On the backs of the Middle Class and poor. Nothing from the Plutocrats who stole every ounce of wealth they could the last 16 years.

Your party wants to repeal the payments for Obamacare and keep the Entitlements. Does that make any ****ing sense at all? No.

Those who do not learn from their history are doomed to repeat it. The Plutocrats may have done awful things, but they also left tells. Learn from them, because they will try again.

I want people to realize that Trump is a disgusting pile of human filth, so that nobody like him ever gets near the presidency again.

Actually, my party wants the government to take their abnormally large nose out of Americans' business when it comes to that.
