What part of "there are some bad people on the right" don't you understand?

About 33% of the population of this country is beyond help. They are fascistic, racist, and misogynistic to the core. They don't care about laws or the Constitution or right and wrong, they care about scratching their itch for revenge.

Those aren't the people of this country who matter, they are an inanimate impediment in the landscape, like mountains or malarial swamps.

We aren't doing this for them. We're doing it for the 67% of this country who still care about laws and the Constitution and right and wrong. Those are the citizens of this country. Stop worrying about the obstacles. They're something to be overcome. You don't stop fighting a war because the enemy doesn't share your premises.

You're the one who stated "Nothing can move the needle", yet I am the one who has given up? Really? If your 67% number is accurate there is a lot of needle to move. Otherwise your number is BS.

Nothing can move the needle because it's already pegged. Everybody with the slightest sense of morality and brainpower above a house pet is fully opposed to the baboon and his party of howler monkeys.

We continue to do what is right for the citizens of this country, not the vicious morons whose junta has temporarily captured its government.

Why the 67% does not translate to 67% of the vote is a topic that has been discussed ad infinitum on a hundred other threads. If you think you can do something about that then stop sniveling and get to work.

I guess my overall point is where are these people learning these things? Are they all brainwashed? No one could interpret the Constitution or Christianity this way and have an honest bone in their body. No one.

Are they all just bullies who got away with it?

Some are bullies, some are zealots, some are morons. Those are the three flavors Republicans come in.

But to be fair, Christianity has proven remarkably flexible to different interpretations. Not Jesus' words, which strike me as extremely direct and clear.
