Either way it just wrecks the country even more. Heard we're cutting down or eliminating taking any refugees. The statue they should take down is in New York Harbor. Leave the Civil War Statues in place.

The US did shut down immigration for a period of time after WWII to allow for the melting pot to all melt together again. Nothing worse than lumpy fondue and that's what we have now.

Today, well, we need immigrants to work in some blue collar industries (and to pay into Social Security). That's the corporate and US Chamber of Commerce POV.

So we're jammed up.

Only because those already here think they're above those jobs, for whatever reason.

PS - I'm a neat freak. It drives people nuts. I use "5S" in the machine shop as a combat weapon because it kills some folks when I make them do it. :D

The cognitive dissonance in Sic and Flaggy88's heads won't allow them to believe your first-hand account of actual blue collar employment.

EDIT: Seriously, go read Fast Food Nation and get back to me about immigrants (legal and otherwise), not taking the dirtiest, most dangerous, and most thankless jobs out there, and often with no recourse for on-site injuries.

Next up- he melts said statue down for the scrap value. No need for it anymore. What is stands for is no longer :(

Let Mueller finish his investigation (heck, it's worked so well for Trey Gowdy :D ).

When you lose voices like Dershowitz and USA Today, the Mueller outcome is becoming clear: Flynn and Manafort are toast, Flynn for lying about something he didn't need to lie about (how dumb is that guy?) and Manafort for things he did two years before joining the Trump campaign.

But at this point, my hypothesized "manila envelope" isn't showing up.

Worse, the character of some in the investigation is being revealed (via Tweets or infidelities).

Neither that nor Gowdy serve our Republic well.

If you think the Gowdy "investigation" of Hillary and the Mueller investigation of Dump are in any way similar, well, I just don't know what to say.

Outside of the Echo Chamber and the Republicans' paid flacks, everybody knew the Gowdy investigation was nonsense and the Mueller investigation of Dump is the most serious investigation of presidential malfeasance since Nixon. I realize my co-workers force-fed Fox 24/7 don't know this. They are insulated from reality. But dude, come on, you don't have that excuse. :p
