I shop Costco maybe once a month. She claims that all but nine items are food. For my educated guess:
Nine "small purchase" items:
Kirkland paper towels - $25
Kirkland toilet paper - $25
Ziploc sandwich bags (platic bags) - $12
Ziplock freezer bags - $12
Disposable razor blades - (?) $30
Kirkland trash bags - $25
Kleenex 8 pack - $25
Not sure what the other two items could be, but we can ballpark it's ~ $200 total in "non food items" (which, is accurate for when I stock up every six months or more on the same items.)
That leaves us $600 for forty nine "food" items.
No alcohol, no tires, no electronics, no big purchases, no steaks, no junk food, no sugary foods, no vitamins, no cosmetics, no medicine, and no soda. Lots of frozen broccoli, if you must know, and two packs of chicken thighs.
Right out the gate:
Chicken thighs x2 = $60
"Lots" of frozen broccoli (eight? packages @ $10 ea) = $80.
So we're down to 39 items totalling $460.
Average cost per item remaining is: $11.79.
It's Costco, food items are in bulk, so this tracks.
This woman is so full of sh*t, she could have starred in Two Girls One Cup.
The only thing this proves is she's a moron spouting off for the wrong reasons, double and triple downed on her lies, and can't see the giant L she's taken.
Just like a lot of conservatives.
