POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

I dunno between this and the revelation that Flynn and Nunes were involved with some pretty dubious crap with Turkey after the election I think something is definitely there. The fact that Trump left Flynn out to dry after Flynn carried water for him (and destroyed his career for him) doesnt help.

This stuff isnt going away...Trump can attack the media all he wants to but they arent going to give up just cause he calls them bad names. There is a reason newspapers like the times and WaPo are hiring it is because for the first time in years people are reading hem and taking them seriously and they have a hardon to destroy him.

I could be wrong, but the only difference between Trump and past presidents (or candidates) is that the other side slings enough mud and SOMETHING sticks, maybe. This time around, there's a LOT that is sticking, or really could stick.

There are people, if they decide to put their foot down....their careers are ended, but for a greater good, I think. The question is....who's gonna do it?

Well the problem with Trump is he is throwing people under the bus Nixon style and sooner or later, just like the mob, someone says "screw it I am done I will take him down with me!". Criminals sooner or later rat and the more Trump deflects and the more these investigations dont go away the more the pressure mounts and...well you know.

You and I are definitely on the same page.

Don't agree with this. Its not just there's actual fire with Trump...its that half of Yosemite has burned to the ground.

Their careers are not always finished. It's been so long since we actually had a full-on party civil war that we've forgotten that sometimes the Rebel Alliance wins. In the late 60s and early 70s the Democrats had a literally violent civil war, the liberal youngsters taking on the New Deal oldsters. The youngsters won and took over the party and became the ruling clique for the next 40 years and counting. If the wind is blowing your way you can win. It takes balls the size of Anne Coulter's adam's apple, but it can be done.

Fox News Sunday. Here comes the tax cuts. Not one mention of how to pay the bills.

And, they're not backing down on Trump Tower being tapped by Obama.

Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

Borrow and spend. All around the right, same song.

It's SO funny when they complain about "Tax and Spend" when they are "Borrow and Spend".

While the complaint is always about deficit and debt, the reality is just about the taxes. Especially for the people who can easily afford them.

Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

They don't care about the deficit. never have, never will. The only reason they cry about deficits when democrats are in power is to stop them from using government money to help improve people's lives. Can't have that.

Give millionaires huge tax cuts while making old people pay half their income for crappy health insurance? Yes please.

I saw a rumor that Russians have infiltrated the very highest level of Washington: the NHL Capitals. It reminds me of when the Wings were good.

Trump sent out a tweet yesterday - Watch @JudgeJeanine on @FoxNews tonight at 9:00 P.M.

Judge Jeanine started the show with: Paul Ryan needs to step down as speaker of the House.

It's like how the press would read the graffiti during the Cultural Revolution to try to figure out what the leadership was doing. "Madam Mao is a maggot."

Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

It amazes me how Republicans are devoid of any ideas that don't involve piping money to rich people. That's all they've got.

Re: POTUS 45.7 - Has the left reached the acceptance stage yet?

Agreed with the sentiments. What a sh** stain.

But... more of the same "so outlandish that no one gives a sh**," from their camp. If Obama did this, there would be congressional inquires into his fitness to be President. Had GW done this, there would have been media blow back and grumbling from members of congress for months. Had Clinton done this, ... again no President could withstand pulling this sh**.

For Trump, it's just another item on the checklist before he boards Air Force One for Mar-A-Lago for evening dinner.
