Good. He thinks the Mueller Report exonerated him from Russian stuff, let's see a (civil) court say otherwise. He could just continue to whine about it and leave good enough alone and his people would still believe him.

It's a distraction...

People talking about this means that people aren't talking about how he stands almost no chance at winning a primary in '24 or that he's looking at some dire straights when it comes to his legal situation.

I mean, maybe **shrugs**

I don't understand the Conservative mind... But a good bit of them seem to be fairly solidly in the Anti-Dump camp currently.

But they will also choose party over whatever if Dumpy does indeed lose.

I'm not so sure about that last part. A whole lot of Trump supporters seem to be just that: Trump is their god. I definitely think there would be a not-insignificant number of his supporters who would sit out the general election if Trump loses the primary - especially if he spends the next 18+ months demonizing the eventual winner before going down in flames.

Could be true. And if it is, and enough people run, they will split the vote among multiple candidates, while Donnie's MAGAts consistently give him 30% in state after state.

Just like they did in 2016.

Your first misconception is that these are "conservatives" which they aren't. The Bill Krystols of the world already left...

The party is run by Trump sycophants. The proof of that is the Kevin McCarthy debacle.

There is a fight going on...but the only powerful person that is anti-Trump is McConnell and he holds little sway outside the Senate. And as long as boring fat Ron DeSantis is the opposition Trump is going to win. He will run laps around The Man in the White Boots and while the "base" may be split the Trumpers and Fascists will be enough to make DeSantis run and hide.

Irving Kristol was a conservative. William Kristol was just another predatory hack, same as McConnell, Bannon, Dump.

Even Republicans who oppose Dump do not dare say so publicly. They speak in code, probably because they (rightfully) fear assassination by Dump's brownshirts.

The GOP is a fascist white nationalist terrorist group, they are not a political party. We should ban them and try their members for sedition.

Personality wise, you may be right.

Policy wise, they are all dumpers. Nothing is changing what so ever WRT policy- fear, hate, guns, and tax cuts. Just like it's been to get that moron into office in the first place.

The ONLY thing dumpy brings is a new cult of personality.
