Well one way to stop Biden from becoming president would be to launch a nuclear strike on Russia as retaliation for their ongoing cyber attack. Because the resulting counter-strike by Russia would effectively bring about the mutually assured destruction and the end of the world those of us who came of age in a duck-and-cover world know about all too well.

If that was what was going to happen I'd sure want to keep that news away from what is supposed to be the next administration.
 
Pompeo has admitted Russia did the hack. Dump has tweeted it was probably not necessarily Russia but China. And, Dump is floating the idea of not leaving the White House.

I have been saying for the entirety of trump's presidency we are lucky it is happening now and not 15 years from now. Young officers and younger enlisted who plan on making the military their career are not the same as those who joined 30 years ago and who now make up the senior enlisted corps and the colonels and generals. It is the same as law enforcement. The people I called friends 25 and more years ago who were cops were NOT white supremacist bullies. They were people who became cops either because they actually thought they could do some good in their communities, thought the job seemed interesting, or took it because it offered employment stability, good benefits and a pension.

Nowadays too many fascists make up the ranks of both law enforcement and the military and are entering those professions for all the wrong reasons.

I have very little doubt the people in the military who are currently giving orders or seeing that the orders are carried out won't tolerate wholesale lawbreaking by the civilian chain of command. What I wonder about are the people who are currently field grade officers and junior enlisted ranks who intend on making the military their career.
 
Appears from reporting this morning that the "40%" we've talked about over the last four years has grown larger, not smaller. Explains the close election I suppose. America is drifting further and further into the abyss. The recently passed relief package being the biggest joke on planet earth only confirms it.
 
So the US President wants to appoint an objectively insane Q Believer as Special Counsel with broad prosecutorial power, wants to deploy the military to take control of "blue states" and eject state governments to install puppet governors who will send an "alternate reality" slate of electoral votes to congress, and wants to "seize voting apparatus" in those states... It's still fine... right guys?
