Is it possible that she can see he's going down and she has decided to salvage her reputation and career by being a real judge?

I mean... is it at least within the realm of theoretical chance? I know she's a conniving tool, but has she done the math and realized the expected value function has changed?

I think its more that if she had opposed the DOJ request for speedy trial she was opening up a can of worms that would kill her career.

Plenty of time for them to say, " too fast, we need more time to prepare a proper defense" and begin requesting delay after delay.

It's the Trump way.
 
Coming out of the supermarket just now, I saw a car with an "I ♥️ the Constitution" sticker right next to their "Maka America Great Again" sticker. Sorry, you have to choose one or the other. You can't have both.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KSNW) – A former analyst with the Kansas City Division of the FBI was sentenced in federal court on Wednesday for illegally retaining documents related to national defense at her home.

Kendra Kingsbury, 50, was sentenced to three years and 10 months in federal prison without parole. She pleaded guilty on Oct. 13, 2022, to two counts of unlawfully retaining documents related to the national defense.
