DirecTV dropped OANN.

That takes out about 22 million of the 35 million homes they were in on cable.

Edit: never mind I fell for a Twitter bamboozlement.

However, real news is that DirecTV is no longer available in Venezuela due to sanctions.

Thoughts and prayers...

I think it is time to implement the Twitter joke of a COVID waiver for real. Anyone who wishes to defy orders, not wear a mask, not socially distance...etc. can sign away their right to be treated for COVID.

What exactly would people be waiving? I don't think there really is a "treatment" is there, unless you are almost gone, at which point they throw you on a ventilator to hasten the departure.

DNR/DNI and no experimental drugs. Palliative care only.

While it's a low percentage people do come off ventilators. I have a coworker who went on one on 3/24 and finally came off full time yesterday.

Although most people with COVID-19 have mild to moderate symptoms, the disease can cause severe medical complications and lead to death in some people. Older adults or people with existing chronic medical conditions are at greater risk of becoming seriously ill with COVID-19.

Complications can include:

Pneumonia and trouble breathing
Organ failure in several organs
Heart problems
Blood clots
Acute kidney injury
Additional viral and bacterial infections
