The Wall Street Journal always “forgets” to mention that the ratings for the White House Press Briefings are “through the roof” (Monday Night Football, Bachelor Finale, according to @nytimes) & is only way for me to escape the Fake News & get my views across. Looks like Faux got jealous of OANN because their newest poll somehow shifted and has Trump at new highs...talk about shameless :D

Eh, it's probably just an outlier. Their last poll had Biden +9 and CNN had one that was +11. With the average polling around Biden +6, you'd expect a 0 or a +11 every now and then. Funny it came out on the same day though.

It probably is a coincidence...but it was just a few days ago they had him in all sorts of trouble...he starts to show favorites towards someone else and well here we are :D

I mean, obviously I'm no fan of FOX, but their polling arm is actually legitimate. I'm not even sure how much direct influence the network has on the polling branch. Trump's yelled at them before for bad polling results. Now, you want to see a bad/biased pollster, check out Rasmussen :D

I've never heard of this site, but for the sake of irony and hilarity I hope this is true and everyone brands it Pizzagate.

The drug company that paid Cohen a million bucks to lobby Dimwit Donnie also makes hydroxychloroquine.

I think he's going to have only one chance to win.

During April and May he's going to continue with the "let my people go" drumbeat. There will be a few voices supporting him initially, but that chorus will grow. Every two to three weeks governors around the country will extend the stay at home orders, and Trump will continue his demand. The issue of "stay at home" will turn from mostly scientific and slightly political to almost 100% political.

If the stay at home orders continue into late summer, politically Trump's "let everyone go" position will easily be the majority opinion of voters (if not scientists.)

Like I said, the SIP orders will effectively be over by Memorial Day, whether they are still in place or not. Retailers in Michigan are already snarling at Whitmer's latest update that will force big box stores to cordon off and police their general merch aisles.

There's a dozen GOP governors that never issued an order and another half dozen that will probably leap to follow Trump's plan within days if not hours (Georgia, Florida, etc. )

I doubt he'll get to beat that drum since we'll have real time evidence on whether it's working.

If this pandemic is over by the end of May, you may have a point.

But, if those states who haven't sheltered in place, and the ones who do follow Dimwit Donnie's directive start seeing their cases spike, he's toast. I don't care how many people are back working, the Dow isn't gonna be rising when you're seeing 2000 people a day dying.

And we haven't even seen the results from the red states yet, Miss., Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and even LA, California and Texas. If those states follow the NY example this won't be over anytime soon.

I wonder if our State Republicans are going to overrule Whitmer.
