POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

Re: POTUS 45.63: This Thread Gets Better Ratings Than The Super Bowl

Tucker Carlson accidentally says what we've all been saying during his monologue Friday night:
"Fauci is not an economist -- or for that matter, someone who fears being unemployed." Carlson added that, "We should never let someone like that run the country."

Even with the bar set that low, that would also disqualify Trump as well.

Quote is buried deep in an opinion article about how the FOX/Trump feedback loop is stronger than ever.

Oh, I don't know. Extensive bankruptcy experience should be required of all GOP presidents.

Nah, Hovey's too busy yucking it up about NYC counting murders as COVID deaths.

There is “wound too tight,” and then there are “USCHO posters.”

Wow. Remind me to never **** you off. ;)

Hey man, my work has nurses and Doctors dying. I have no effs to give.
If Hovey won’t to sit here admitting his party has fault, then eff him

He's already told us we're overreacting. For his next trick, he'll insist they aren't his party and that he's an independent.

And there it is...

Every Trump supporter who thinks Trump is draining the swamp, and bleeds the stars and stripes with his "America, First!" bullsh**, can go slip in a puddle of Covid-19 and die.

Why is Trump hyping hydroxychloroquine as the "cure-all drug" for coronavirus? Because he's INVESTED IN A GODDAMMED FRENCH COMPANY WHO MAKES THE FARKING DRUG. Because of course he is.

40 year old adolescents, felons, power drinkers, and trustees of modern chemistry.

This does sound a lot like the Cafe.

Then there's dumbass ignorant. Look in the mirror.

The bar is so low to be considered a “good” conservative. It’s like we give too much respect to those who don’t like trump.

I want to hear what he thinks of what is going on. What compels someone with a brain to think any of what the GOP is doing is ok? I have a few good friends who are conservatives who have abandoned the GOP. I don’t think Hovey is stupid or cruel, which are the hallmark qualities of a conservative now.
I guess the conservative posters here are really all the same- joe, etc. deep down they’re all good with what is going on. The right people are getting hurt. The liberals here will still rip Obama for stuff but the other side can never rip their king and all his stooges

Where in my post did I say anything about my feelings for what is "going on?" Where did I say anything yea or nay about Trump?

My post was a intended exactly as it was, an jab at New Yorkers. It was basically a way of saying that even New Yorkers don't like New Yorkers.

Sorry, I like jabbing at New Yorkers, and all east coasties in general.

Elsewhere I've supported 100% the efforts of people like Governor Walz to try to limit the spread. It is true that I have advocated in support of more local (and by that I mean state) control of the precise efforts to control the spread in that state, because like it or not situations in places like NYC, New Orleans, Los Angeles, etc..., are different than in the middle of Wyoming. But that has been my primary difference of opinion with most of you here regarding the handling of this pandemic.

I agree that Trump and his administration completely dropped the ball in terms of addressing this early on, or even before it started. But I'm not going to sit here every day and biatch about it because until one of you invents a time machine it will do no good. It would be like me biatching every day about things Hakstol could have done differently at all of the Frozen Fours he made it to, but then failed to win the big one. I consider it a waste of my time. There will be plenty of times and places to evaluate and act upon Trump's performance with this crisis, including in November.

But again, my post had nothing to do with Trump.
