It's funny that the media mentions that because they have enabled Trump more than anyone to have all the double standards he enjoys. Maybe if they did their job that wouldn't have happened.

Oddly enough, pretty much every person that has appeared in front of the closed door committee has backed up the whistleblower's claim, and added more details to it.

So even if the whistleblower was a ruse, the real truth has come out.

It's pretty funny to hear the Russians complain so much about not knowing who this person is, and somehow the new facts and and details that confirms 100% the story is meaningless.

How is it that the Russian party gets listened to when they are so ignorant?

Jimi Hendrix got booed off stage a month or so after his debut album Are You Experienced was released, his first big concert performed in the US. The Monkees saw him perform when visiting England that year, immediately recognized his talent, and invited him to open for a couple of their shows. You might say it wasn't Jimi's target audience.

This is exactly the kind of case the Roberts 5 will protect the GOP on. It's another Bush v Gore -- substance doesn't matter, political ramification is the only consideration.

I really wish we had an honorable SCOTUS but 40 years of compromising with fascists will do this to a democracy.

Four miles away, but within the same racist neighborhood of Naperville as the Bucky Gas Station that asked a latino-looking customer if they were legal.

If they do, they just legalized corruption. And that actually will go both ways, since neither party has demonstrated an ability to hold the office more than 8 years...

Except when a democratic administration is in the cross hairs of republican legislators, the Court will suddenly find the moral high ground and order the administration to follow the law.

If trump doesn't blow up the world in the next 2-6 years, we will see that the real lasting damage he has done is via the courts. Clinton would have been a forgettable president IMO, but her court appointees would have been 1000% better than trumps.

This is a true Dumpy suburb. I had a friend who spent a nasty, brutish, and short time in Naperville. It's McMansion style developments and the kind of fat, self-satisfied upper middle class Republican who used to adore Newt Gingrich. The kind of money that owns furniture stores and construction companies. Giving a hick money doesn't make him any smarter.

Used to be in an apartment on the Northwest side and bought a house just further Northwest (but not in Naperville). Can confirm.

It all rolls together. It started in 1980. Just found out today that in 1982 they made stock buybacks legal. They finished 23 trillion dollars of theft during the Trump Administration. And with Trump they completed their multi-generational control of the Courts.

The Conservative Utopia pie is all baked in. The only thing they have left to accomplish is to cement minorities and women as subservient to white men permanently. Oh, and make Christianity the one true religion of the United States.

But, they've accomplished a lot since 1980. Their list certainly overpowers anything you can put on the progressive side of the ledger.
