It's the "two kinds of people" thing again. It comes down to which you are more willing to tolerate: getting burned by scammers so that everybody who really needs care gets it, or burning needy people so that every* scammer gets caught.

* Except scammers adapt, so you're likely not even catching them.

He was ranting about this at one of his Nuremderp rallies last night. Apparently even the first ban "should never have been blocked."

At least we get a firm acknowledgement that gun control is on the table. If they are going to go after the first amendment for the sake of "safety", guns can be gone after, too.

OR, for the gun lovers out there, how about standing up for more of the Bill of Rights?

Trump’s first budget proposal, which he named “America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again,” would increase defense spending by $54 billion and then offset that by stripping money from more than 18 other agencies. Some would be hit particularly hard, with reductions of more than 20 percent at the Agriculture, Labor and State departments and of more than 30 percent at the Environmental Protection Agency.

It would also propose eliminating future federal support for the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Within EPA alone, 50 programs and 3,200 positions would be eliminated.

I doubt Ayn Rand would orgasm over a bloated military budget, but I also doubt Ayn Rand ever had or gave an orgasm in her life. Explains Greenspan's thing with Andrea Mitchell. He clearly thinks all women are frigid.

When you say "jobs bill" and "creating jobs", you're obviously referring to direct creation in the public sector. That takes tax money.

When Trump says "creating jobs", he's referring to giving the private sector the tools necessary to be able to succeed, i.e. getting out of their way. Not only is that budget neutral, but could also be construed as a tax reduction in that the money is not going towards enforcing said regulations. Although, it's more likely it would remain neutral, because the focus of the enforcement would be shifted elsewhere.

I've always been fiscally conservative. Identity politics have just been so blinding for some to understand this. I wouldn't call it "coming around" so much as your realization that I'm not the stereotypical right-wing war monger. ;)

They are running on the talking points that you regularly espouse (gubmint bad, private sector good, elites evil, America First). Trump's "political philosophy" is just a distillation of the conspiracy website clickbait you feed on.

America elected Flag last November. You own this now. You lost that safe sniper role with no responsibility when the fine people of this land gave you the reins. So drive.
