Even better, Russia may accidentally (or otherwise) engage with Turkey, a NATO ally, and then what do we do? Obviously Dump does nothing but if the rest of the alliance invokes Article 5 we'll be in breach.

I think once Trump was ACTUALLY elected (and I still don't know if Putin really thought that would happen), it opened a WHOLE new playbook for him [Putin]. Right now he's the Bill Belichik of the political game.
