POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

Another whistleblower (alluded to in previous news stories and I know I posted about this earlier):

https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...768b34-e52e-11e9-a331-2df12d56a80b_story.html

"IRS whistleblower said to report Treasury political appointee might have tried to interfere in audit of Trump or Pence

An Internal Revenue Service official has filed a whistleblower complaint reporting that he was told at least one Treasury Department political appointee attempted to improperly interfere with the annual audit of the president or vice president’s tax returns, according to multiple people familiar with the document.

Trump administration officials dismissed the whistleblower’s complaint as flimsy because it is based on conversations with other government officials. But congressional Democrats were alarmed by the complaint, now circulating on Capitol Hill, and flagged it to a federal judge. They are also discussing whether to make it public.

The complaint has come amid the escalating legal battle between the Treasury Department and House Democrats over the release of President Trump’s tax returns. Part of that inquiry from Democrats is over how the IRS conducts its annual audit of the president and vice president’s tax returns. That process is supposed to be walled off from political appointees and interference."

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

The former U.S. special envoy for Ukraine told House investigators on Thursday that he warned President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudolph W. Giuliani, that Giuliani was receiving untrustworthy information from Ukrainian political figures about former vice president Joe Biden and his son, according to two people familiar with his testimony.

Kurt Volker, who resigned last week after being named in a whistleblower complaint that sparked the House impeachment inquiry of Trump, said he tried to caution Giuliani that his sources, including Ukraine’s former top prosecutor, were unreliable and that he should be careful about putting faith in the prosecutor’s stories, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the closed door meeting.

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

Wait...so...according to him Democrats are going to TAKE AWAY Medicare benefits by GIVING people Medicare for all? I think I just went crosseyed...

Here's the punchline:
“They want to raid Medicare to fund a thing like socialism,” he said. “Today we’re creating a health-care system that protects vulnerable patients.”

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

So he is now stopping funding for socialism by protecting socialism. Good god I think his own staff is screwing with him now. He is in full Ron Burgundy mode just reading what they give him to read.

Ok anyone who believes any of this needs to be Darwined out for the sake of the herd. This isnt even circular logic this is just a single point.

By the way. They don't think Medicare and Social Security are Socialism. I think the Democrats should use that more, but they're afraid of the word socialism altogether just like the rest of America. Bernie is about the only one that will say it.

We should say it 24/7. And we should constantly replay Republican scare ads attacking social security and medicare. We should do that all the time and we should have been doing it the last forty years because these pr-cks always use the same game plan.

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

Of course.

Breaking News: U.S. diplomats drafted a statement for Ukraine’s leader that would have committed him to investigations of President Trump's rivals.

Re: POTUS 45.59: It Was a Great Phone Call

Imagine the Ukrainian President's poll numbers now that he's gotten entangled with Dump?

Putin could have a puppet running the show in Kiev again very soon.
