Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

There are as many signs of Trump dementia as there are signs that he's truly just a scared, irascible, egomaniacal, hate-filled imbecile who's in over his head and never intended to actually win the 2016 election.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

Tom Joseph has made a pretty compelling case.

Tom Joseph is arm chair diagnosing which is BS. It is funny from the standpoint that Trump is bat[bleep] crazy but he has no legit basis to do it and it is dangerous to do so. His "evidence" is biased and unreliable at best and wouldnt stand up to strict scrutiny.

He may ultimately be right, but it isnt because of the evidence he presents or any sort of real firsthand knowledge. It would be closer to rightly guessing the Super Bowl Champion before the playoffs start. It is a lucky, albeit educated, guess. Nothing more. It is one step above the people who try and diagnose mental issues in killers based on quotes in news stories and the vague public facts of the crimes.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

I let a lot of it go because it probably helps people cope with some of the things he does. But saying someone has PSP, which can be extremely challenging for a sub specialist to diagnose in person, is quite stupid. Especially if one knew anything about the disease, Trump's clinical picture and time course obviously would not fit it.

To imply that his gait disturbance while walking down the stairs is pathognomonic for PSP is like saying someone with a random fever has chronic Coxiella burnetii infection.

I agree that while the outcome might be right, the actions assessment is based upon isn't reliable.

I recall one a few weeks back where Tom Joseph said the shoulders and head moving backwards was involuntary; to me, it appeared he was reacting shocked to a bit of news given to him.

It's a mix of actual problems (leaning hard on the podium for long stretches for balance) and natural reactionary responses.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

Hopefully no one with a brain believes armchair diagnosis; I however pay attention to the account for the videos. Man does not look or sound well, and he already was the unhealthiest non drinker I’ve ever seen

Leaning on the podium can mean many things. Old age being one of them. Body is tired. Heck, I have some back issues, I cannot stand in one place without shifting for any amount of duration. Also cannot sit in the same position without shifting for any duration of time.

He isn't healthy. Just don't know what it exactly is, outside of normal health, though.

Do I think it’s definitive? No. But it’s compelling.

The Air Force Academy video was the one that blew my mind.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

And for the record, I meant that he makes a compelling case that something is wrong with the man and he needs a full, public psych workup by an independent doctor.

Anything specific like PSP (whatever that is, I’ll take WW’s word on this) is obviously a stretch.

He should have health reports/checkups, but he's surrounded by yes-men, that's the issue. I really hope it's just physical. As much as I hate Trump, I don't put him in the same class as some other past world leaders, only because I think his mental health affects his thinking at this point.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

I'll add. Trump was NOT good at the beginning. However, now, whatever is going on upstairs has taken over. Before: he was deliberate, manipulative. Now...I think it's mostly (for a lack of better phrase) muscle memory. It's his past habits/etc just dictating. He's not making really conscious decisions.

I dont doubt he has mental impairment or that he is mostly cheeseburger at this point...but that has nothing to do with some guy on Twitter trying to make himself important because he is able to use medical terms and random videos to play doctor.

Dementia isnt why Trump is what he is...Trump is scum who might just happen to have dementia. Tom Joseph is a hack.

The fact that liberals latch on to this(not you) is pathetic especially when they lost their [bleep] over the "Hillary Fainting" videos that lead to armchair diagnosis in 2016. It is full on hypocrisy.

No, he really wasn't.

He was always a toddler galloping face first into the furniture while his adoring throng told him what a big, smart, good boy he was.

This is all Dump has ever been. To say he has changed is only to say the way you see him has changed.

This is such a false equivalency. Good lord. One case was a video of a woman fainting, once. The other is a series of increasingly alarming signs that trump is losing his faculties. The drunk meandering down paths unable to walk a straight line, the slurring of words, increasingly unstable mental presence, doesn’t know what time it is, confusing locations, etc.

Re: POTUS 45.57: We Should Have Voted for Zaphod Beeblebrox Instead.

Extreme narcissism, combined with laziness and limited intelligence, can lead to some pretty irrational and/or dangerous conduct, but we've known that about him since before the election. You add the stressors of the Presidency, where your every move is rightfully questioned, and it's bound to get even stranger.

We are fortunate to have WW and uno for consult on medical and legal matters.

You don’t see a downward trend?
