He's a coward, like every other Republican Member and voter who won't flat out call Dump and his supporters, without any qualification or whataboutism, racists.

I think Trump needs to be ignored. There's nothing that would hurt his standing with his worshipers more than just turning off his megaphone of social media. Now hear me out, I'm not talking about ignoring evil policies like jailing migrant kids and sending queer people to gas chambers, obviously we all need to do whatever's in our power to stop illegal and immoral activities by the POTUS which are actually and immediately harmful; but do it in a grownup way, without the social media vitriol.
But when he goes on a rant about sending dark skinned Americans "back to the countries you came from" and that pointless rant dominates the news and everyone's Twitter feed with two or three days of shrieking outrage, then Trump has won. He wants you angry. He wants you talking about him, whether supportive or combative. He lives on the hype. Don't feed the troll. Just ignore it and talk about healthcare and global warming.
This is what Pelosi knew from the start, that if we play Trump's game we lose. Ignore the screaming toddler. If not, we're stuck with four additional years of the same.
Also, please don't quote Hannity or Tucker as if they're actually relevant thinkers.

It's all very confusing.

I love these (4) women. You think about where they came from and their backgrounds and it is pretty awesome that they rose up and decided to run for office thinking they could make a difference. Sure have more fortitude than I do that's for sure. My admiration is increasing by the minute hearing stories from all these "brown" people on MSNBC describing how many times they've been told to go back where they came from.

As I understand it 3 of the women were born in the United States and the 4th is a "refugee". A "refugee" in my mind is the portrait of what's written on the Statue Of Liberty. Which is scheduled for destruction in the next few months.

I think a lot of us feel that way. But if it is true, as the recent Axios poll shows, that AOC and Omar's approval ratings among one group of swing voters are very low (and I know there are a ton of questions about the legitimacy of the poll), how do you handle their message?

Ms. Omar's Wiki is amazing:
She was six when her family (her sisters, her father, and grandfather) fled Somalia and spent four years in a refugee camp in Kenya. She was 10 when her family was able to get to the US, and finally received asylum status in 1995. And, around that time her father and grandfather explained the importance of democracy and being involved in local politics, so she would attend local meetings with her grandfather and was his interpreter to explain what was going on.



She learned more about American politics since 1992 than I will my entire life. She's a pretty amazing woman.
