Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

Gotta see his tax returns. No way this moronic child was successful in business. Not on his own and not without full scale fraud.

Money makes money. The guy with the money is just along for the ride.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

Trump is just deflecting from this totally awesome photo of Trump circulating in Russian media... :D

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Russia?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Russia</a>'s media commiserates with Trump about the criticism he is facing over his latest phone chat with Putin, while repeating and obviously loving media commentary that showcases Trump's discernible subservience to his Russian counterpart. <a href="https://t.co/KcdCzNeaxX">pic.twitter.com/KcdCzNeaxX</a></p>— Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) <a href="https://twitter.com/JuliaDavisNews/status/1125121581339090944?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 5, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Whoever applies Trump's makeup has just stopped trying. Sheesh.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

So, apparently Scott walker is still a thing? And can someone explain to me when the Dems have ever accomplished a power grab?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Scott Walker is 100% correct when he says that the Republicans must WAKE UP to the Democrats State by State power grab. They play very dirty, actually, like never before. Don’t allow them to get away with what they are doing!</p>— Donald J. Winning elections legitimately is now a power grab.

The best thing about this photo is Putin has obviously just finished showing his mental toughness by holding a dissident's hand in that candle.

"The trick is not minding it."

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> How long 'til the 10,000 lie president brands this "fake news" and says all the former prosecutors are Dems? That should be more than enough for the cult of MAGAts.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

How is that breaking? Mueller said as much right in the report.

The MAGAts will never even hear it. Today Fox is wall-to-wall rockin' the Casbah.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

Everyone assumes dump cannot be convicted in the Senate, even if the House votes to impeach. Do Dem proponents think that getting the facts out there in a very public Senate trial will do enough harm to defeat him in '20, even though the end result will be a finding that he did not commit high crimes and misdemeanors--something dump will claim as exoneration, as he did with the Mueller report? Is that the risk/reward analysis that is going on with Dem representatives, or are there other more important considerations?

The main consideration is trying not to light a fire under the Dumpies by holding their Precious accountable. As if anything we do will affect the squealing of Dump or his zombies.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

A poll came out today saying “enthusiasm” is now basically higher for Rs vs D for 2020. Meaningless, yes.

Re: POTUS 45:52: Not Founded On Anything

I don't think Dems should promise anything until they hear from Mueller directly, scheduled for May 15th. That's the time for him to put his cards on the table. If he says there's evidence of wrongdoing but Presidents can't be indicted then its full speed ahead on impeachment hearings. I doubt he says anything that dramatic mind you but no point in speculating now that an actual hearing date has been set.

I say, "D@mn the torpedoes".

So this issue also boils down to voter turnout in '20?

I don't care if they don't vote to convict. If what he has done doesn't warrant impeachment, then what does? What does this say to future holders of the office, that they can do anything without penalty or recourse. It's about upholding our laws, and our Constitution.

If Repubs refuse to do what's right, if they stick by him despite the evidence against him that would be sure to come out, then use that against them in the future.

It definitely warrants impeachment, however the length of time it would take to do all that, vs when the next election is, plus the blowback on said hearings...Dems don't want to ruin ANY chance of winning the next election, and I don't blame them. A majority of the country thinks impeachment is warranted...however, the possible cost of that makes it not worth it.

What, it pizzes off the 35% of the country that's gonna vote for Trump anyway?
