Stephen Miller is in charge of immigration at the White House. The lady who implemented family separation at the border was fired because she was too soft.

Whoopsies. Seems Trump broke federal law by Tweeting out an acting replacement for Kirstjen. The laws that formed the DHS explicitly forbid using the Federal Vacancies rules for replacement, and state the under secretary shall assume duties.

White House is currently walking that one back.



Two years in and you'd think they would accidentally get one of these right one of these times. Not sure who's batting average is lower: Trump or Chris Davis.

Yes. For him to appoint an acting replacement, he would need to fire her.

Which, for some reason, the guy who made a big thing about telling people "you're fired!!!" on the teevee, which lots of dumbass people think made him a tough guy, doesn't have the balls to do to people in real life. Always has someone else do it for him.

By my count there are now 3 heads/ex-heads of Dump cabinet-level departments who know my wife by sight. In any other cabinet in history that would be interesting. In this one it makes me reconsider my choice.

This is pretty interesting. Trump retweeted it. Notice how Health Care is never mentioned. Also, Dems talk about lots of things related to immigration and a couple on that list are not even true.

Well, Jim also likes to ignore boys being molested, so I'm sure missing healthcare was also just an oversight.
