Serious question

What happens if they strike or walked out? I know some of these jobs aren’t “allowed” to strike, but what if they did?

Obviously it would be a mega **** show for everyone, but I’m less concerned about that and more concerned about a government shutdown being the spark that starts the recession fire.

What would happen to them if they just didn’t show up for work?

Theoretically they can be arrested but it's not all that practical obviously. This kinda throws a wrench into all of the ideas that Reagan preached about government being the problem.

Ahh, but donnie knows that 90% of today's crossings are by rapists murderers and jihadists. A lot different from the 50s, when they were artichoke pickers and yard mowers who accepted their place in Murica.

I'm assuming they would be fired and the govt would have to deploy military people in that role until replacements could be hired and trained...

Yes. It's both siderism, Drew. Your guys have been following the same script for the last 40 years.

1. I never met that girl.
2. I may have met that girl but only by accident.
3. I may have planned to meet that girl but we never had sex.
4. I may have had sex with that girl but she forced me to at gunpoint.
5. I may have not been forced by that girl to have sex but it was mutually consensual.
6. I may have had sex with that girl against her will but I was under the influence.
7. I may have had sex with that girl against her will after planning it for weeks and abducting her but it was just an honest misunderstanding.
8. Rape accusations are so divisive. We need to move on for the good of the country!

Senate adjourned for the weekend. They probably should not plan on going out to eat in town. If you think it was bad about foreign children locked up around the DHS director, don't be sitting in a nice restaurant while a few thousand furloughed in DC can't feed *their* kids.

What about our Senators? Won't someone please think of them? Especially the white, male Republican ones. It's so distressing when they try to get a table at the Old Ebbitt Grill and get yelled at by the nasty DC Swamp rats! LEAVE THEM ALONE, LIBS!
