POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

So if it's the attitude around a person's treatment of women, why isn't the issue with the OSU team bigger than just a 3 game suspension?

This isn't national news. I'll repeat what I said already, and what other people have said- people are murders in cold blood every single day. The only ones we keep hearing about seem to be white women, especially if the accuser is of a different color. Bonus points if they are not legal immigrants.

The fact that this is such a huge issue just fans the flames that dumpy is pouring gas on. Don't get distracted by that.

The real issue here is that we pretend that this is some kind of elevated problem due to the likely perpetrator.
The bolded REALLY pizzed me off.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

Cohen: *flips*

Trump: WAAAH! Flipping should be illegal!

Pecker: *hands beer to personal assistant* Watch this.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

Ok, just read the other 3 pages of stuff.

The flipping: that is much more than white collar crimes. Does the phrase "snitches get stitches" mean anything to you? Or that the Mexican/Colombian drug cartels basically kill anyone they THINK is a snitch? The Japanese Yakuza cut off fingers of people who (in their opinion) talk too much or otherwise offend. Then you have the obvious street gangs (whether they be the traditional sense or gangs like outlaw bikers). Lotta crime that isn't white collar going on there. Just sayin'.

I have no clue what kind of rediculous point you are trying to make

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

I’m also confused. Is he saying dump should be able to kill anyone who snitches on him?

And?

To people who are actually concerned about the rule of law, flipping is just reporting that someone is breaking the law, and that's a good thing.

To the people breaking the law, it's a very bad thing.

Regardless of the collar worn by the law breaker.

The fact that the moron in chief is proud of Manafort for not exposing him breaking the law is pretty telling. Instead, he could have claimed that Manafort had nothing to say, so there's no reason that the lack of information is even interesting. Since he has pointed out that Manafort didn't break, that's basically an admissions that Manafort knows something. Likely a bad something.

For the "rule of law" people, like so many republican's claim that they are, Cohen's spilling of the beans should be a good thing. It makes sure that laws that Congress passed are actually followed. Whereas dumpy's claim that Manafort would have never been found without Mueller is horridly bad, as it implies that breaking the law is ok as long as you are not caught.

And lets not forget, that the laws that BOTH Manafort and Cohen are considered far, far more serious than any of the illegal immigration that is going on. Felony vs. misdemeanor. Funny how their kids are not being taken away from them.... Worse are the LEGAL APPLICANTS FOR ASYLUM that had their kids taken from them. Break no laws, your kids are gone. And somehow that is more serious than laws that are admittedly or judged to be broken which Congress has said are worse laws to break.

Rule of law, people.

Yes, he's asking why the ***** isn't locked up and why all these "fake crimes" are being prosecuted. By the way. I watched 30s of Fox and Friends this morning. They were discussing how all of these crimes weren't crimes.

I guess Dershowitz really got into it again. One wonders how a Judge, Prosecutor, and Defense Attorney could allow Cohen to plead out on crimes that do not exist.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

It's interesting how much fake news is out there. On Fox and Friends on Fox News this morning they clearly spelled out that the campaign law that Cohen pleaded out on was fake, not a law, no law was broken.

Yet, in the fake NY Times this morning there is an editorial that says this:

"If the Cohen allegations are true, what President Trump did was knowingly conspire to violate federal campaign law and to hide it from the American people right before the election, and that very severe crime is one that must be punished."

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/23/...ry-trump-cohen.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur

Trump as far as I can tell during his interview on Fox News this week already admitted that the Cohen allegations are true. But, it's not a crime so how can this person conclude that it is a severe crime that must be punished?

By the way, the writer of this opinion piece is Mr. Katyal and he was an acting solicitor general in the Obama administration. So, he must have some credentials?? How is this so confusing. The President didn't do anything wrong.

Just another Obama DeepStater intent on bringing Trumpy down.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

I am guessing that Brent is saying Trump is acting like everyone else when they are snitched on. Though I guess he is being less harsh. Snitches tend to get attacked up and down (literally and figuratively) by those they report on. The Cartels kill you, the Yakuza maim you, street gangs tend to do both and so on. Trump is attacking Cohen and destroying his credibility along with trying to take down the process.

Some of you are so hell bent on trying to prove a point and "get" posters you think are awful you cant see the forest from the trees. For example how and the hell was what he said "whataboutism" anyways? I know that is the new force de jour with our side but just throwing it out there randomly anytime someone says something makes you the Don King of political debate.
