Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

They were wise enough to hire a third party. If only Trump were as savvy as them.

You have some kind of evidence of such a meeting? I'd bet that it's just rumors an innuendos, as opposed to emials from dump Jr telling us that it happened, and many of them stating as a fact that, yes, they were getting dirt. Somehow that it's ok, when it's very much against the law.

Why is it that people like you can not accept the evidence that dumpy's people are just handing out left and right but you somehow believe rumors that the Clinton's did it?

That makes no sense to me.

We have people who HAVE PLEAD GUILTY under the Mueller investigation, and you somehow still think that dumpy is the victim. These people have said under oath that they were instructed to do this. We have more than one person who actually worked for dumpy, wanted him to be president, admitting to this. And you don't believe them.

But you do believe rumors about Clinton.

I believe he means the Steele Dossier.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

I won't claim the media never talks about POC going missing but the coverage of that compared to the missing white woman coverage is very disproportionate.

I assume in the upper midwest, coverage on a missing Iowa girl is much greater than a missing AZ girl, but I'm far away from both and would say coverage was very similar prior to Miss Tibbetts being found. Both stories were carried by major network news and featured in prominent national news outlets. Obviously the Tibbetts story has gone bigger for political reasons now, but I assume if, god forbid, Miss Bergman is found in a similar circumstance, or especially if done in by the hand of a Republican, that story will be even bigger.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

I had literally never heard of the Arizona girl so I'm going to call BS on that premise.

Also my work blocked infowars lmao.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump says the only reason he hired Jeff Sessions was out of loyalty. I don't know what's crazier, that the president would admit to that level of cronyism in filling one of the most important positions in the federal govt, or the fact that it isn't even a little surprising.

Trump warned of endless investigations of Clinton. Instead, the focus is now on him

Endless investigations. The biggest scandal since Watergate. Coverups. An inability to govern. A possible constitutional crisis. These were all arguments that Donald Trump made against Hillary Clinton in the closing days of the 2016 presidential election. But now with the Washington Post reporting overnight that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice, it’s worth recalling the rhetoric Trump used in the final two weeks of the ’16 presidential campaign.

jfc.

WASHINGTON - Raising the prospect of his own impeachment, President Donald Trump warned during a television interview Thursday that his removal from office would hurt the economy.

"If I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash," Trump said during an interview with a "Fox and Friends" host that was conducted Wednesday and broadcast on the show Thursday morning.

"I think everybody would be very poor. Because without this thinking," he continued, pointing a finger at his head, "you would see, you would see numbers that you wouldn't believe in reverse."

"I don't know how you can impeach somebody who's done a great job," the president said.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

So Mike Pence is gonna screw up the economy?

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

I like this review of the interview. Clearly slanted, but it's hard to argue with Chris Cillizza on this one.

18. is awesome.
18. Trump Talking about a guy he thinks should be jailed. "I mean, he was worse than anybody in my opinion. He got nothing. He's a Democrat. He got nothing."
Awan was sentenced to time served earlier this week. That amounted to one day in jail and 11 months of monitoring with an ankle bracelet. At Awan's sentencing hearing, the district judge said this -- clearly referencing Trump: "There have been numerous allegations, ... accusations lobbed at him from the highest branches of the government, all of which have been proved to be without foundation by the FBI and the Department of Justice."

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

And this St. Clown. Wow. jfc.

Trump talking again.

34. "So I give myself an A-plus."
Earhardt asked Trump what grade he would give himself. That Trump went with the highest possible grade really tells you everything you need to know about him. Seriously.
35. "The only thing I'm I'm doing badly on is the press doesn't cover me fairly."
If I had to name my greatest weakness, I think I would probably say it's that I care too much about people. Or maybe that I am so smart it makes it hard to interact with people not as smart as me. Either one would work.
36. "I would say I would honestly give myself an A-plus and so would many other people."
So many other people. A+s all around!

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen

By the way. Trump wants to outlaw "flipping". Which is agreeing to a lesser sentence if you agree to give testimony against someone else.

That sound like a good idea to anyone? I bet 35% of the people in the United States think it's a great idea.

I don't see anything wrong with flipping houses.

OH JEEBUS. I didn't see the second sentence. **** him with a cactus.

Re: POTUS 45.40: If You Need a Lawyer, Don't Hire Michael Cohen
