Is anyone really surprised by the op-ed? These stories have been leaking out for the entire time dumpy has been president. There's has been no change at all in what is being said. None at all.

If it's a conspiracy- they are doing a great job being consistent, and having multiple people say bad things, including people who have been very close to dumpy. That includes his former lawyer.

Or it's just true, and we all recognize it. How about not getting distracted by the back and forth, and just accept it for what it is. R's may appreciate most of the policy, but they are cowards when it comes to standing up to a bully, and that's the real sad part.

And is there ANY evidence that dumpy has done anything to drain the swamp? Especially when you see all of the filling of it with utter BS and corrupt people- including dumpy who is making money being president. Given that he did not let go of his investments in his companies- he's making money hand over fist- probably even over charging for the weeks he spends at his OWN resorts. That does not even account for the money that foreign governments are paying to use any of his properties all over the world- which is a very clear violation of the constitution.

Funny how people get all upset when you attack their gun right as it's so very Constitutional, but when it comes to other ones, they are quite silent. Somehow, a direct violation of the Constitution is perfectly ok if they get tax cuts. So don't bother asking me to support your gun rights, as that's a total sham.

I love how an obvious Republican (I won't say conservative cause that is not what that party is anymore) writes an op-ed and now he's a Democrat. There is nothing in that article that suggests he's a liberal. Nothing. In fact, as I pointed out last time I posted in this thread, the things he supports that were signed into Law by Trump I vehemently disagree with.

Because what he says about the economy is true, and people's pocketbooks are all the proof they need. I'm honestly surprised your candidate didn't push the "doubling the stock market since taking office" angle, instead of the religious-control-esque "do this or you're deplorable" angle.

The economy was trending in the up direction for a long while before January 20th, 2017. Trump wasn't some magician who magically used his his tiny hands to turn the economy around.

I'm just feeding back the same "grounding" your ilk spread when Obama actually did turn the economy around:

It's happening *in spite* of whomever is President.

Then why did companies start turning around saying "I want back in" after the election, when he was President-Elect? Why didn't they do it before? Why are we at over 4% growth right now, when projections at the time Obama was in office were that we couldn't get even close to that and were, by some opinions, trending to the negative? What happened to the predictions of Mark Cuban and other leftists that the economy would crash if Trump came in? Heck, you now even have leftist media folk like Bill Maher rooting for a depression!

Liberalism truly IS a mental disorder. Get yourself off the plantation and wake up to the real world that's going on around you.

To be fair, I had to go check my 401k just now to make sure that it didn't magically start on 1/20/2017. Thankfully it's verifiably much older than that. :D

Also flag, we're a decade into a trending upward economy.

Now, some of the more financially astute around here can explain it better but we're due for some economic "right-sizing." Either in this term, in Trump's second term, or his third term after he's named Czar.

- End of WW2 caused a large economic boom to all sectors of the economy. Then came the oil crisis and financial crash of the 70's.
- Regan-omics building upon the obvious boom from the late 70's/early 80's recovery lead to the internet boom of the 90's with Clinton then... *pop*
- GW has some growth, but the fantasy land the housing market was riding fell from the clouds giving us the economic recovery Obama started his terms with.

So we're closing in on a decade of growth. There will be another down wave, followed by an up wave.

While, I personally cannot confirm that these people are "rooting for a crash," there are people out there who are at least warning us to be sensible and not full di** swinging bullish on the market.

Now is the time rainy day slush funds need to be saved up. Not full tilt, **** the torpedos, "Gimme mine now, and fu** y'all in the future" attitude.

The Government has blown it's was during good economic times. That means the poor and middle class are all ****ed when we hit the next recession.
