Mitch is cancelling August recess so red state dems can’t go home to campaign. He wants to confirm trumps appointments.
What happened to not confirming picks in election years? I swear he said it was a rule previously!

And he sums up why I'm considering voting to re-elect Sen Heitkamp (D-ND) this fall.

The progressive agenda focuses primarily on resisting President Trump at every step, labeling his every action a scandal, and calling for his impeachment without any vetted or verifiable evidence of wrongdoing. Progressives also advocate a redistribution of wealth without any long-term plan to fund policies such as Medicare-for-All or guaranteed employment.

The moderates offer a distinctly different worldview. They offer a plan for inclusive economic growth and an alternative set of policies to resolve the issues surrounding immigration and health care. At the same time, they reject party-line loyalty to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and calls for President Trump’s impeachment.

These positions allow the moderates to most effectively and persuasively articulate differences with the president, as well as find potential compromises with him.

If she's the D and I lived in North Dakota I would vote for her. I would never support her in any primary.

Schoen is Mark Penn's old crony. A consummate insider. He is quoted in this story by Fox News.

So, basically, Dick Morris.

It is hardly a shock that he supports Democrats if they would only be conciliatory to Republicans. Fred Barnes' ears must be burning. He's the kind of person, with the kind of message, that would resonate really strongly with Hillary Clinton, Terry McAuliffe, James Carville, etc.

Heitkamp and I'm assuming this guy by proxy supported Gorsuch. Clinton NEVER would have supported Gorsuch. Either as a First Lady, Senator, or President.

Would have depended on the angles. With the Clintons it always does.

They have only one core principle. Themselves. Now, sometimes that is useful -- they are good weapons to deploy under some conditions.

But they are never, never to be trusted.

Obama at least would stab you in the front.

She sucks, but she's better than having some brainless 'R' there. Like the Plute Dems, she'll do until we can do better. Until then, hold your nose and do your best to keep the screws down on her. She's a careerist, so control her with committee goodies if we recapture.

You no likely no equal untrue.

Hillary and Bill were opportunists -- EVEN BY POLITICAL STANDARDS. They were useful when that was all we could aspire to. We're way beyond and above them now. They are an anchor, now. We need to fight now, not cower and hope for a lucky shot.
