I keep saying let the investigation keep on keepin' on; however, I'm adding a caveat: Everything gets declassified when it's done. Sunshine.

I thought security was your thing? Now we see your over-riding concern for security is situation-applicable.

I wasn't clear.

If there is something found, something worthy of impeaching a President, it'd better be laid out plainly and clearly.

Otherwise, let the investigation run its course to a conclusion. If POTUS decides to declassify that, it's on him.

And you are the one who has no real idea how much has gone on, and demand that this investigation should be finished by now.

Do you want to actually find out what has been going on or just get it over with? You can't have both- as it's pretty clear that this is a very complex issue.

On top of that, there has been significant progress between the number of charges brought, the number of actual legal guilty pleas, and a person being sent to jail. All done in less than a year. Which is pretty remarkable timing when compared to Watergate.

We aren't at the interesting part, yet. The interesting part will be when Mueller lays out the evidence and recommends indictments.

At that point do the Republicans put their country ahead of their party?

Also a NO. Their ~40% is locked in and will never waver. They will get Romney level numbers for the forseeable future. Eventually maybe die off will dwindle it but probably not for a couple of more cycles at least.

Kep, in your scenario, will indictments be enough?
The stage has been set for all of it to be disregarded as partisan dirty tricks.

Honestly, it's about the evidence.
It has to be so self-evident, beyond a shadow, that the indictments are perfunctory and conviction a foregone conclusion.

And, no, that's not raising or moving a bar; that's reality.

So, do the work, finish the investigation, and lay it out. (<-- Note there's no time requirement in there.)

Correct.

10 Hours of testimony under oath did nothing for Hillary. Mueller could have video of Trump sucking off Putin himself and it won't matter.
