Clinton was off by a light year. If you voted for trump there's at least a 99% chance you are a truly deplorable person and not worth knowing. For those few who voted for him out of pure ignorance but were not heretofore disgusting people, if you can not publicly disavow your vote by now, join the line of deplorables. trump embodies the worst characteristics of our worst dozen or so presidents, but even most of them had something going for them. Hell, James Buchanan lived up to his promise not to seek a second term, a pledge he made on the first day of his presidency, and sought a cabinet of competing voices at a time when some of the best political minds were struggling with how to keep the nation together. The only reasons not to wish a horribly slow and painful death for trump while he is president is because it will leave us with Pence and elevate him to truly mythical martyr status among the entire right wing and republican party.

Dump is calling for the dem senator who spoke out against his favorite doctor to resign. Not asking the republicans who also spoke out to resign though.

President Fckface von Clownstick will be just a handful of miles away from me tonight. Looks like a good day to stay out of Macomb County.

Hopefully he's flying out immediately, and not doing what Bush did in 2004, spending the night at the luxury hotel just down the hill from my apartment. Probably not gilt enough for his awful taste.

The right can't handle a roast the way it is done today. Of all the comments in this article about Michelle Wolf and the Correspondent's Dinner that the President doesn't even go to anymore, the best were from Kathy Griffin of all people.

Comedian Kathy Griffin, who has herself been embroiled in controversy over her past comments about the president, took up Wolf's defense and responded to Baker and other critics.

"Then don't have a comic do a roast," Griffin said on Twitter, "If you want to focus on the journalism do a boring awards show. Journalism is all about the 1st amendment..If you don't see the import of what @michelleisawolf did tonight then you don't get it."

The republican strategy in full view: Lie repeatedly about a subject even though it is demonstrably false. trump keeps saying illegal immigrants are pouring across the U.S./Mexico border, and illegal immigrants are voting. There is not a shred of evidence that either of these two assertions are true, yet virtually all of trump's supporters believe both to be true.

Why I am so pessimistic about our future is because we are a nation that operates with two competing and often completely opposite sets of "facts." There is the truth and what is actually happening, and then there is all the idiocy, garbage and lies the average trump supporter believes. That's dangerous folks. In 1974 even people who voted for Nixon knew the reporting about Watergate was, by and large, accurate and factual. His approval rating was 24% when he left office and a higher percentage of people disapproved of Nixon than who disapprove of trump. Nixon even had actual presidential accomplishments to hang his hat on. trump supporters believe 90% or more of what the entirety of mainstream media reports about him is completely false.

Supporting trump still in 2018 is as nonsensical as denying the humanity of black people was in 1860. The legacy of that particular little alternative fact sometimes still reverberates in awful ways today. I admit to shopping at the broad brush outlet up the road from me, but if you vote for a republican in the next couple of elections, you are voting for civil war.

A day after insulting disabled people at a celebration of the Paralympics, Sniffles congratulated a soldier for losing a leg in combat. Winning!

“I actually really like Sarah. I think she’s very resourceful. She burns facts and then she uses that ash to create a perfect smoky eye. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.”

Love that one

Even the journalists on Face the Nation thought it might have been a bridge too far.

Re: POTUS 45.32: QAnon Will Help Show the Truth

A teacher on twitter decided to break down how much her salary is compared to all the degrees she has. Despite having a Masters degree she still makes roughly $19.50 and hour. She wasnt whining or complaining, just saying the numbers. Some Trumpers suggested she quit, do research before finding the job or basically just accept it. One guy suggested she move to SoCal cause teachers make $80. ignoring of course the massive cost of living increase. Stuff like this boggles my mind.
